What Junk Removal Involves
Hauled Away,
Not Just Dumped.
Junk removal sounds like the simplest thing we do, and for most customers it is. You show us what needs to go, we carry it out, sweep up behind us and dispose of it properly. There is no sorting for you to do beforehand, nothing to drag to the kerb, and no skip sitting on your driveway for a week collecting other people’s rubbish.
What separates a good removal from a cheap one is where the material ends up. Sending a full truck straight to landfill is the fastest option and the one most operators take. We sort instead. Furniture and appliances in serviceable condition go to local donation partners. Metal, cardboard, timber and green waste are separated for recycling. Electronics are handled as e-waste rather than crushed in with general refuse, and items that are genuinely regulated — paint, solvents, batteries, fluorescent tubes, medical sharps — are routed to facilities licensed to take them.
We quote on volume rather than by the hour, so the price reflects what actually leaves the property and not how long the crew takes. Walkthrough first, figure agreed in writing, then the work. If the load turns out smaller than estimated the price comes down; it does not quietly stay where it was.
The jobs we handle range widely. A single sofa from a third-floor flat. A garage that has not been opened in a decade. An office refit where thirty desks and a server rack need to disappear over a weekend. Estate clear-outs where family are still deciding what to keep, so we work in stages rather than emptying rooms in one pass. Rental turnovers where a tenant has left furniture behind and the property needs to be listed on Monday.
Occasionally a straightforward clear-out turns out not to be. A fridge that has been off for weeks, rodent activity behind stacked boxes, or something in a garage that should not be handled without protective equipment. Because our crews are trained for biohazard work, that does not stop the job or require a second contractor at a second price. We continue under the same scope and tell you plainly what changed and why.
What We Take
Almost Anything Two People Can Carry.
If you are unsure whether we take something, ask. The short answer is usually yes, and where it is no we will tell you who does.
Beds, sofas, wardrobes and white goods carried out from any floor, no disassembly needed from you.
Fridges, washers, televisions and IT equipment handled as e-waste rather than general refuse.
Years of accumulation cleared in a single visit, including yard and construction debris.
Desks, chairs, partitions and fit-out waste removed out of hours to avoid disrupting trading.
Serviceable furniture and appliances routed to local charities before anything is written off.
Metal, timber, cardboard and green waste separated for recycling at a licensed transfer station.
How We Work
A Clear Process, Every Single Job.
You always know what happens next. Every project follows the same four stages, documented from first call to final handback.
Assessment & Planning
We inspect the site, identify every hazard, and give you a written scope and estimate before any work starts.
Containment & Safety
The affected area is isolated with controls, PPE and negative air where needed, so nothing spreads beyond it.
Removal & Decontamination
Contaminated materials are removed and disposed of in accordance with regulations, then surfaces are cleaned, disinfected and deodorized.
Verification & Handback
We verify the results, document everything for your records or insurer, and return the space ready to occupy.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
We understand you may have questions. Here are answers to some of the most common questions about our cleanup and restoration services.
What types of cleanup services do you offer?
We specialize in biohazard/crime scene cleanup, hoarding cleanup, unattended death cleanup, drug exposure remediation, and move-in/move-out cleanouts. Our goal is to safely restore your space and provide peace of mind.
Are your technicians trained and certified?
Every technician is trained and certified in biohazard handling, bloodborne pathogen safety, and proper decontamination procedures, and works to strict industry protocols on every job.
How do you ensure safety and confidentiality?
We arrive in unmarked vehicles where requested, follow documented containment and disposal procedures, and treat every detail of your situation as private.
How long does a cleanup take?
Most jobs are completed within one to three days. Scope, property size, and the level of contamination determine the timeline, and we give you a clear estimate before we begin.
Is it safe to re-enter the space after cleanup?
Yes. We do not consider a job finished until the area has been fully decontaminated, deodorized and verified, so the space is safe to occupy again.
Do you work with insurance companies?
We do. We document the work thoroughly and can bill your insurer directly or supply the paperwork your adjuster needs.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Seattle, WA. That covers Duval County neighbourhoods from Riverside and San Marco to the Beaches and Northside, and everything south through Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Julington Creek and St. Augustine.
How much does a cleanup service cost?
Cost depends on the size of the affected area, the type of contamination and the labour involved. We provide a free, no-obligation assessment and a written quote up front.
